ONLINE RUSSIAN COURSES

Individueller Russischunterricht nach Ihren Interessen und Ihrem Sprachniveau

Language and culture are inseparable things — one doesn’t exist without the other. In these online group courses you learn Russian through lively interaction and practical exercises, discovering Russian traditions and cultural peculiarities along the way. Small groups give you the chance to discuss everyday topics and put Russian to use in concrete situations. The focus is on both communication and Russian culture. That way words and expressions stop being a mere list and become tied to situations you will actually encounter in life. If you want to learn Russian in a structured learning environment and together with others, this course will give you an introduction to the language and its cultural context.

We work not only with classic textbooks — though we certainly can’t do without them — but also with short literary texts, poems, songs, interviews and excerpts from well-known cartoons. These varied materials make Russian come alive and feel warm, and offer many different opportunities to practise listening, reading and speaking. And group conversations on various topics — that is the real school. You naturally develop your language skills, expand your vocabulary, consolidate your grammar and acquire a feel for the language.

Upcoming Online Programmes: Russian Course for Beginners (A1.1)

A structured introductory course for absolute beginners — no prior knowledge needed. You work through a textbook at a steady pace and practise the everyday situations that matter: how to say hello, how to ask for directions, how to order in a café without getting flustered — and not leave hungry.
The course builds your pronunciation and listening skills and helps you take your first steps towards communicating in Russian on your own. This beginners’ course is your first taste of the language and a clear introduction to learning it. Practical exercises and conversations on a range of topics quietly do their job — step by step, they build up your understanding of Russian.
