I’m an English and Russian language teacher specialising in Business English. I have been teaching languages since 2009 and work with both adults and children, from beginners to advanced learners. Today, I offer tailored online English courses and online Russian lessons, focusing on corporate English and Business Russian for professional growth.
My academic background combines language studies with international economics:
Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia — 1998
B.Sc. in General Economics
Moscow State Linguistic University, Russia — 2009
Magister degree in Linguistics and Translation
(English–Russian / Russian–English)
Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany — 2015
M.Sc. in International Economics (completed in English)
My professional background is complemented by qualifications in technology, IT systems, business processes and project management.
Alongside teaching, I have built an international professional career working with companies and corporate clients across a range of industries. My experience includes account management, project coordination, service delivery, administration, and sales. I have worked in technology-driven sectors, including banking, telecommunications, and fintech.
A background in linguistics and years of work in international economics have taught me to look at language from two sides at once: as a system and as a tool. It is the difference between the language one studies and the language one actually uses, in everyday communication, at university, in a professional environment. In my lessons, I try to keep both of these sides in view.
This perspective shapes, to a large extent, both how I structure my lessons and what materials I choose. I help my students develop language skills they can apply confidently not only in class, but also beyond it.
