I’m an English and Russian language teacher specialising in Business English. I have been teaching languages since 2009 and work with both adults and children, from beginners to advanced learners.
My academic background combines language studies with international economics:
Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany — 2015
M.Sc. in International Economics (completed in English)
Moscow State Linguistic University, Russia — 2009
Magister degree in Linguistics and Translation
(English–Russian / Russian–English)
Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia — 1998
B.Sc. in General Economics
In addition, my professional training includes certifications and qualifications in areas related to project, process, and requirements management, including ITIL® 4 Foundation, Professional Scrum Master™ I, Process Management (TÜV Rheinland), and IREB® (CPRE).
Alongside teaching, I have built an international professional career working with companies and corporate clients across a range of industries. My experience includes account management, project coordination, service delivery, administration, and sales. I have worked in technology-driven sectors, including banking, telecommunications, and fintech.
My background in linguistics gives me a strong understanding of how languages work, while my experience in international business allows me to approach language from a practical perspective. I understand the difference between learning a language and actually using it in everyday communication, at university, and in professional situations.
This combination of linguistic knowledge, teaching experience, and real-world business experience shapes the way I design my lessons and learning materials. I support learners in developing language skills they can use confidently beyond the classroom.
